Dr Tooska Dargahi is a Lecturer in cybersecurity and the Programme Leader for MSc Cybersecurity at the University of Salford.

She is an active researcher and has an established track record in the field of security and privacy in networked systems, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and smart cities, as well as applied cryptography.

She has been involved in several funded research projects as principal investigator or collaborator, including EU H2020 projects, ERDF Greater Manchester Cyber Foundry, Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP), and Innovate UK CyberASAP Programme. 

She collaborates with national and international scholars and contributes to public engagement activities to increase awareness about the security and privacy challenges of modern digital society. She has served as a guest editor for several special issues in reputable journals, and an associate editor of the “Cyber Threat Intelligence” Springer book.
